This is what the button will look like in your cart:
Upon pressing that button, use the interface below to calculate your shipping rate!
Q: How long will it take to ship to (your shipping location)?
A: For orders placed in the domestic US, please use the map below. If you are ordering internationally, orders may take up to 2-3 weeks depending on the customs procedures in your country. Saturday Express delivery is not available in all areas, please call customer service to verify: 877-895-9453. Or visit FedEx (Cardboard Safari zip code is 22901, you will have to estimate shipping weight but weight is not critical for verification of Saturday delivery)
Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: We do ship internationally, with some restrictions. Please keep in mind that all taxes, VAT, duties and customs fees are the responsibility of the customer and are collected at the time of delivery by the shipping carrier. We receive no proceeds from these fees.
If you have a deadline, we do not recommend using USPS for overseas orders. UPS shipments are more likely to reach you in a timely manner.
We currently do not ship to the following countries: China, Isreal, Mexico, Norway, Russia, Singapore.
We wish this were not the case! However, we have experienced great difficulty with delivery in these countries and we cannot guarantee the delivery of your package. Please email us at email@example.com with any questions!
Q: What do I call all these parts?
A: Check out this handy graphic!
Q: Can I sell your products?
A: Maybe! We are always considering new retail outlets. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with details of your selling location and we will take a look!
Q: Will you share your template designs?
A: Unfortunatley, no. Our files represent hundreds of hours of design and testing and are very precious to us. Please do not attempt to reproduce our work, as they are under copyright protection. If you do, we'll have to call the lawyers!
Q: Do you make a (suggested animal or item here)?
A: We're always considering new designs! Please send us an email (email@example.com) with your suggestion!
Q: What are these little brown spots on my...?
A: Occasionally the laser cutting process can leave some dark marks or scorched parts on the product. This is due to the fact that we use super awesome lasers to make our goods. These marks are not typically noticeable on the assembled product. Most parts are bilaterally symmetrical and can be flipped to hide any offending mark. If the marks are a problem on the assembled product, simply contact us for a replacement.
Q: My order was damaged or incorrect! What do I do?
A: Contact us! Please call 877-895-9453 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org with any issues.
Q: I purchased my item from a store and would like to return it. Can I send it to you?
A: Any items purchased at a retailer other than our website should be returned directly to the site of purchase.
Q: Can I get some custom work done?
A: Maybe! We love custom orders, but often the labor intenstive design and testing process requires us to take on only high volume projects. If you're looking for a quantity that ends in something "hundred" give us a call.
Q: How should I hang my cardboard (awesome product)?
A: For Micro and Junior products the easiest way is by using a pushpin! For larger items the most secure way is to use a nail or screw placed in a stud. Giant products can weigh up to 50 pounds so make sure the location is secure!
Q: Can I paint it?
A: Yes! Of course you can! It’s best to do so before assembling your product. If it is already assembled you can also easily take it apart and re-assemble after painting. We suggest acrylic based spray paint for the best results. Use thin coats and allow each coat to dry completely before re-coating. Due to the laser cut precision of our product, use care to not apply more paint than necessary as too much paint can prevent the product from fitting together. Be sure to test the paint on a small piece of cardboard first, and as always, do any painting outside or in a well ventilated area.
Finally, once your customization is complete, be sure to send us a picture!
Q: Can I return my...?
A: Sure. Please check our return information here.
Q: Isn’t cardboard really flammable?
A: Yes! We strongly suggest keeping your Cardboard Safari merchandise away from open flame or intense heat sources. To be extra safe there are a few products that will increase the level of flame retardation that are safe to use on our goods.
